Doolin is a small fishing village, situated on the west coast of Ireland, on the 'Wild Atlantic Way'. It is magnificent to stand on the rocks and look across to the Aran Islands, watching the sun set in the evening as it goes down behind the islands. We also have free private car park. Gardens for guest use – tranquil, peaceful setting.

There is lots to do in Doolin such as scenic walks, pitch & putt, fishing, pony trekking – all within walking distance. Discover the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren landscape. Ideal location for walkers/ramblers/climbers and all nature lovers. The area is also world renowned for surfing and pot holing. Pay a visit to the spectacular Doolin cave to see the worlds longest hanging free stalactite. After a day filled with activity one can stroll to the many restaurants and enjoy our culinary delights and afterwards head to the local pubs for a pint of guinness and some excellent traditional music in the traditional music capital of the West of Ireland – Doolin.

Doolin Map Doolin Village is actually made up of two villages, Roadford and Fisher Street.

We are situated half way between these two villages, just 100 metres off the main cross roads into Doolin where the R479 and R478 meet. Cross over the old stone bridge and pass the Aille River Hostel. The cottage is signposted at the Cross Roads.

Bus Eireann Bus stops outside Fitzpatricks Pub at the main Cross Roads, two minutes walk to Doolin Cottage. (Buses to/from Galway & Dublin via Limerick & Ennis). Rail Service to Ennis or Galway from Dublin with connecting Bus Eireann to Doolin.
